What was at stake
Justice of the Peace, Precinct No. 3 was among the county and precinct offices on the Nov. 3 general election ballot, according to the Tarrant County election order issued in August 2026.
What's next
The results remain unofficial until the Tarrant County Commissioners Court completes the canvass. Under Texas law, the local canvass for county and precinct races must take place between Nov. 6 and Nov. 17, according to the Brennan Center for Justice. The canvass cannot begin until the Early Voting Ballot Board has verified and counted any provisional ballots and counted all timely received mail ballots.
