Kevin Burge is the Democratic candidate for U.S. House District 24 in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. Republican Beth Van Duyne is his opponent on the Texas secretary of state’s certified ballot.

Background and campaign priorities

On his campaign website, Burge describes himself as a Marine Corps veteran and Tarrant County resident. His campaign says he deployed twice to Iraq and once to Afghanistan.

Burge lists affordable housing, Medicare for All, immigration reform, civil liberties, tuition-free public college and trade education, and restoring abortion rights as priorities. He also calls for restoring checks and balances and an economy focused on working families. These positions come from his campaign’s published statements.
