Local small-business owners can learn how artificial intelligence tools might help them stop losing money to missed calls, cold leads and manual tasks at a free two-hour workshop Tuesday, Aug. 18, at the Grapevine Public Library.

The session, titled "Where Small Businesses Leak Money, and the AI That Plugs Them," runs from 4 to 6 p.m. in the library's Program Room at 1201 Municipal Way. It is listed on the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce events calendar.

Mitch Arnold, a Grapevine resident, Air Force veteran and founder of DFW-based Arnold AI Group, will lead the program. Arnold served four years as a Contracting Officer before launching the veteran-owned firm, which focuses on identifying where small businesses lose money and which AI tools can address each gap.

The workshop covers three specific revenue-leak categories: missed phone calls, cold leads and hours spent on manual administrative work. It includes a live demonstration in which audience members attempt to trip up an AI phone assistant, followed by a question-and-answer period and structured networking. Attendees leave with a one-page "Leak Checklist" for spotting the most expensive revenue leak in their own operation.

No prior AI or technology knowledge is required. Arnold AI Group said on the event's Eventbrite page that the program requires no technical background and is designed for beginners, though experienced AI users will still benefit from the revenue analysis and safety guidance.

The event is free.

Arnold AI Group said the Grapevine Public Library reviewed the material before agreeing to host the session and that nothing will be sold during the program. Attendance is not limited to business owners; anyone curious about what AI actually does is welcome.
