Matt Bryant is running for reelection to Tarrant Appraisal District Board Place 3 in the Nov. 3, 2026, nonpartisan election. Tarrant County’s official candidate list also lists John Adams for the seat.
Experience and public service
The appraisal district’s official biography lists Bryant’s term as July 1, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2026. It says he moved to Southlake in 2005 and served on the Carroll school district’s board of trustees.
The biography describes Bryant as a real estate investor who converts distressed single-family homes into rental properties. Before that work, he was vice president of sales for the U.S. subsidiary of Nova Measuring Instruments and a process engineer at Texas Instruments’ Jack Kilby Research Center.
