Southlake families have until Nov. 9 to register individual players for the city's winter Youth Basketball League.
The league is open to boys and girls in four age divisions: 7U, 9U, 11U and 13U. Age is calculated as of Sept. 1, 2026. Team registration closes Nov. 16 at 11:59 p.m., though the city said spots may fill before the deadline.
Games are scheduled on Saturdays from Dec. 5 through Feb. 6, with playoffs Feb. 13 for qualifying teams, according to the city's athletics page.
The schedule includes breaks Dec. 21 through Dec. 26 and Dec. 28 through Jan. 2. Practices start the week of Nov. 30.
The city's registration alert lists a coaches meeting Nov. 14 at Champions Club, 285 Shady Oaks Dr., though the athletics page lists the date as to be determined. Practice times will be selected at that meeting.
Coaching inquiries can be directed to Jonathan Weeks at [email protected].
