A Colleyville neurology practice is adding a diagnostic facility that lets patients wear brain-monitoring equipment at home instead of sitting in a clinic.

A&B Neurology plans to open NeuroSync Diagnostics on Friday, Sept. 25, at 6213 Colleyville Blvd., Ste. 100, according to Community Impact.

The facility will focus on ambulatory electroencephalograms, commonly called EEGs, which record brain-wave activity while patients go about their daily routines at home.

Traditional EEGs are performed during a single office visit, typically lasting under an hour. Ambulatory versions use portable equipment a patient wears for days at a time, capturing data that a brief in-office scan can miss. Community Impact reported the at-home monitoring lasts 48 to 96 hours, though A&B Neurology's own service page describes the range as 24 to 72 hours. The exact duration may vary by patient.

The practice says the remote monitoring can benefit patients with several neurological conditions, though it has not specified which conditions see the greatest improvement from longer recording windows.

A&B Neurology treats conditions including epilepsy, migraines, strokes and seizures. Dr. Babak Rezaei, described by the practice as a board-certified neurologist, founded A&B Neurology in 2021. The practice serves patients across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

NeuroSync Diagnostics is the practice's name for its ambulatory EEG service line. A&B Neurology describes it as a tool that helps referring physicians get higher-quality brain-wave data when a routine office scan is not enough.

The practice has not announced whether a public opening event is planned or whether it is already accepting appointments at the new suite.
