Colleyville is adding a new vendor market to its annual Harvest Festival in October, pairing local makers, farmers and food trucks with the city's longstanding celebration.

The city announced Sept. 1 that it is partnering with Art Algebra, a gallery and latte bar at 1001 Glade Rd., to launch the inaugural Harvest Market.

Vendor applications are open for local makers, small businesses, food vendors and farmers who want a booth at the event.

Art Algebra opened in Colleyville in July, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The Glade Road shop hosts pop-up vendor markets alongside its specialty lattes.

Exact dates and location for the Harvest Market have not been confirmed in a single official source. The city's special events page lists the Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Heroes Park at City Hall. Art Algebra posted separately that the Harvest Art Fest and Food Truck Alley will run Monday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Whether the market spans multiple days beyond the main festival or runs on a different schedule is unclear.

Vendor applications are now open. The city's announcement directed interested vendors to scan a QR code to apply. No application deadline, booth fee or vendor cap has been published.

Colleyville residents have shown appetite for this kind of event. A city parks and recreation report noted the Senior Center's inaugural Craft Show and Market on May 29 drew 30 vendors and close to 200 shoppers.

Organizers received positive feedback and suggested moving future editions to a Saturday to draw more visitors.

The Harvest Festival itself is an annual tradition featuring a costume contest and a pet costume contest at Heroes Park.
