Italian Crust, the pizza-and-pasta restaurant at 2140 Hall-Johnson Road in Grapevine, has permanently closed.
A notice on the restaurant's door announced the closure and thanked customers and the community for their support, Community Impact Newspaper reported. No reason for the closure was included in the notice.
The restaurant's menu featured pizza, pasta, calzones and sandwiches. The restaurant prepared many items from its own recipes, including pizza dough, meatballs and marinated chicken, according to its website.
Italian Crust first opened in 2005 as a delivery and take-out shop in Irving. Customer demand for a sit-down option drove the move to Grapevine, where the restaurant held its soft opening April 16, 2018, at the Hall-Johnson Road suite, according to a 2018 Community Impact report. The Grapevine location added dine-in and carryout service.
The restaurant operated on Hall-Johnson Road for about eight years.
