Grapevine's official Hispanic Heritage festival returns Oct. 4 with six hours of art, food, live music, a fashion show and Mexican wrestling at the Convention Center.

Celebra Grapevine: Passports to Culture runs 2–8 p.m. at the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 S. Main St. Admission is $35, with tickets available at ticketplate.com. The event falls during National Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.

The city proclaimed Celebra its official Hispanic Heritage festival in 2023, according to the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau event listing.

More than 30% of Grapevine's population shares Hispanic heritage, the listing states, along with more than 40% of Texas.

The Fort Worth Report described the event as a journey through the art, food, music and traditions of the Grapevine community.

The afternoon closes with Lucha Libre, the masked Mexican wrestling tradition that the Latinos in Grapevine organization describes as a celebration of Mexican identity and community.

Beyond the wrestling finale, attendees can expect a live fashion show, local vendors and performances throughout the day, according to The Grapevine Edit.

Proceeds support Dev Culture's Latinos in Grapevine initiative, which provides professional development and training resources for the area's Latino residents, according to the CVB listing. The initiative is part of a broader effort tied to Grapevine's growing Latino population.

Grapevine Main LIVE! free fall concerts continue Fridays and Saturdays at Peace Plaza, 815 S. Main St., from 7:30–9:30 p.m. The Oct. 3 show features Still The One, a Shania Twain tribute act. The following week, Oct. 10, Warehouse, a Dave Matthews tribute band, takes the stage.
