Four Fort Worth Opera singers will perform at Grace Chapel at White's Chapel Methodist Church in Southlake on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 4 p.m.
The performers are all current Hattie Mae Lesley Resident Artists, a program that supports emerging opera talent. The concert is co-presented by the City of Southlake and APEX Arts League, a Southlake-based nonprofit that has presented hundreds of arts and education events since 2007. Tickets are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors and APEX members, and $10 for children and students.

The lineup features soprano Rayna Mia Campbell, mezzo-soprano Lauren Salazar, tenor Cecil Garrison and bass Noah Mond. Fort Worth Opera is in its 81st season under General and Artistic Director Angela Turner Wilson.
Campbell, from Belleville, Illinois, co-founded Teens for Opera at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis and holds degrees from the Manhattan School of Music and San Francisco Conservatory of Music, according to Fort Worth Opera.
Salazar, a Houston native, has performed the title role in Carmen with Fort Worth Opera and Austin Opera and studied at the University of North Texas and the University of Texas at Austin.
Garrison, originally from Farmington, New Mexico, won the University of North Texas Concerto Competition in 2025. Mond, from Stony Brook, New York, won the Tennessee District of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition and is set to join the International Opernstudio at Oper Köln after his Fort Worth tenure.
The resident artist program also supports educational outreach, reaching 16,000 schoolchildren each year across Texas, the Fort Worth Report noted in an April season announcement.
When announcing the 81st season in April, Wilson said the company is "expanding the work that connects Fort Worth Opera with audiences of all ages across North Texas … strengthening community partnerships, and investing in the next generation of opera artists …"
The specific repertoire for the Oct. 11 concert has not been announced. The Southlake performance is part of APEX Arts League's 2026–27 season, which also includes Avant Chamber Ballet and Cinema D'Arte events.
