Hydration Room, a California-based IV therapy and wellness company, has opened its first location outside California at 1161 E. Southlake Blvd., Suite 280.

The Southlake clinic marks the beginning of a national expansion for the corporate-owned chain, which operates more than 65 locations across California, Community Impact Newspaper reported.

Founder and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Brett Florie, a board-certified anesthesiologist, started the company in 2014 after developing IV therapy to help his wife manage chronic migraines. Services at the Southlake location include immune-support IV drips, NAD+ therapy, migraine relief, vitamin B12 shots and cold and flu boost injections.

Florie told Community Impact Newspaper that he designed the company's core therapies himself and that every protocol is developed and refined under physician-led clinical oversight. The majority of the company's vitamins, minerals and antioxidants come from its own facility, he said.

Registered nurses administer all treatments. Patients receive a complimentary consultation with a nurse practitioner as part of each visit, according to Community Impact.

The clinic is now open.

CEO Michelle Mendoza said the company sees strong demand in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. "Dallas is an important market for us," Mendoza said in a Friday, Sept. 18 press release. "We believe patients are looking for wellness providers they can trust, and our physician-founded, nurse-administered model is built to deliver that confidence."

The press release described Southlake as a community known for active families, busy professionals and a performance-oriented lifestyle, framing the city as a fit for the brand's first out-of-state move. The company did not name additional Texas locations or expansion timelines.

Hydration Room does not bill insurance directly but says many therapies qualify for flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) reimbursement. Most IV sessions take 45 to 60 minutes, according to the company's website.

The Southlake clinic is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and can be reached at (817) 873-3228.
