Ninety Italian sports cars and motorcycles will line up at Historic Nash Farm in Grapevine on Sept. 12, for the 22nd Annual ItalianCarFest, a free show that kicks off the city's fall festival season.
The event runs 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 626 Ball St. and is open to all ages. Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Alfa Romeos and Fiats will be among the modern and classic machines on display, according to the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau, which co-hosts the show with the Italian Car Club of North Texas.
The CVB bills the gathering as the largest show of premier Italian automobiles in the Southwest. The event has been a Grapevine tradition since 2005.
Visitors who arrive early can also tour the historic Nash Farmhouse, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. that same day.
ItalianCarFest marks the first major event in a packed fall calendar for downtown Grapevine. Five days later, the 40th Annual GrapeFest opens on Historic Main Street, running Sept. 17–20. The Harvest Wine Train, a ticketed evening ride on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad paired with Texas wines, launches on GrapeFest's opening night, Sept. 17.
Free live music also returns to Peace Plaza at 815 S. Main St. with the Grapevine Main LIVE! Fall Concert Series, featuring tribute bands on Fridays and Saturdays.
