A new $34 million lounge inside DFW Airport is open for premium credit-card holders traveling through Grapevine, and it's stocked with Fort Worth coffee.
JPMorgan Chase opened the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club on Thursday, July 16, in Terminal D near Gate D25. The split-level space spans roughly 18,000 square feet, according to Chase, making it the bank's ninth Sapphire lounge nationwide and its first in North Texas.
Cherry Coffee, a women-owned shop on Fort Worth's Magnolia Avenue, supplies the beans. Owner Katherine Morris said Chase came to her, not the other way around.
"They sought us out," Morris said at a lounge preview on Tuesday, July 15.
Morris founded Cherry Coffee in 2021 on the Near Southside and acquired roaster Novel Coffee Roasters in 2023. She called the airport deal a chance for wider exposure for the small business.
Chase paired the coffee with food from Encina, a Bishop Arts District restaurant in Dallas. The lounge's dedicated whiskey cart features Texas whiskeys, including a custom barrel selection exclusive to the location, alongside root beer from Dublin Bottling Works in Dublin, Texas.
Dallas artist Kyle Bunting created two original murals in the whiskey lounge, which doubles as a sports-watching room nodding to Texas football culture, according to Forbes. Design details include a blue wall referencing Dallas sports teams and a rusty brown wall reflecting Fort Worth's Western heritage.
Other amenities include rest pods, showers, Face Haus facials, a family room, a private nursing room, and a Peloton wellness program launching first at DFW.
Access requires a Chase Sapphire Reserve card, which carries a $795 annual fee. Cardholders may bring two guests free; additional guests cost $27 each.
The project was designed by Dallas-based architecture firm Corgan and built by H.J. Russell & Company in partnership with Turner Construction, according to H.J. Russell's project page, which valued the build at $34 million.
DFW handled 85.6 million passengers in 2025, according to Airports Council International data published in April 2026. The Chase lounge joins two other credit-card lounges already in Terminal D: Capital One's lounge, which opened in November 2021, and the American Express Centurion Lounge, which is undergoing a 50% expansion expected to finish in 2027.
Chase's next Sapphire lounge is planned for Los Angeles International Airport within the next year.
