Fort Worth-based American Airlines is building its biggest Admirals Club lounge ever inside Terminal C at DFW Airport, giving Grapevine-area travelers a 37,000-square-foot space with chef-inspired food, specialty cocktails and dedicated workspaces steps from the Skylink station.

The airline announced the project on July 19, alongside two other premium additions: a Flagship check-in area near Gate D30 in Terminal D and a grab-and-go concept called Provisions by Admirals Club inside the forthcoming Terminal F.

"We're investing in every stage of the premium travel journey at DFW, beginning the moment customers arrive at the airport," Chief Customer Officer Heather Garboden said in the news release.

The lounge will offer expanded all-day food options, Lavazza coffee, Champagne Bollinger and a chef-inspired menu. Terminal

C already ranks among the busiest in the country, handling nearly 200 departures per day, and DFW opened nine new gates there in June 2026 ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

Flagship check-in at Terminal D

American said the Flagship check-in near Gate D30 will open later in 2026.

The private area will provide individual assistance from airline employees for premium and loyalty-program customers.

DFW becomes the fifth airport worldwide with the Flagship check-in experience, joining Chicago, London, Los Angeles and Miami.

When Terminal F's first phase opens in 2027, it will include Provisions by Admirals Club, a grab-and-go kiosk offering fresh food, premium beverages and travel essentials.

The 400,000-square-foot, 15-gate terminal is the first major addition to DFW's footprint in years, and American said the kiosk will be the first of several premium options it plans for the building.

The lounge and terminal projects are part of DFW Forward, the airport's $12 billion capital improvement plan that also includes upgraded roadways and expanded terminals.

DFW served nearly 86 million passengers in 2025 and expects to reach 100 million by the end of the decade, according to DFW Airport.
