GRACE Grapevine received a $50,000 donation from H-E-B as part of the grocery chain's new partnership with the Dallas Cowboys. The Grapevine nonprofit provides food, clothing and financial help to families in crisis across northeast Tarrant County.

The donation is part of a $500,000 commitment H-E-B split evenly among 10 DFW-area nonprofits, the Fort Worth Report reported. The multi-year deal, announced Aug. 25 at the Star in Frisco, makes H-E-B the exclusive grocery and pharmacy partner of the Dallas Cowboys starting with the 2026 season.

Each nonprofit received $50,000.

GRACE, short for Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange, has operated in Grapevine since the 1980s. The organization's emergency assistance program serves more than 1,200 families each year with food, clothing, utilities and financial aid, according to the nonprofit's website.

Its programs also include a community clinic, mentorship housing, senior services and seasonal efforts such as Christmas Cottage and Back to School drives.

Juan-Carlos Rück, H-E-B executive vice president of North West Food/Drug Operations and Real Estate, said at the Aug. 25 announcement that the donations celebrate the Cowboys partnership by supporting organizations "that work year-round to help those in need," according to H-E-B's announcement.

The nine other nonprofits that each received $50,000 are Arlington Charities, Community Food Bank, Crossroads Community Services, Denton Freedom House Food Pantry, Frisco Family Services, Heart of the City Lewisville, Irving Cares, Samaritan Inn Food Pantry and Trusted World.

Beyond the nonprofit donations, H-E-B will donate $1,000 to the Salvation Army for every sack the Cowboys defense records during the regular season, up to $50,000. The partnership also includes player-led school supply drives, holiday events, youth camps and football clinics.

H-E-B's Central Market brand has operated in the DFW area since 2001, including a Southlake location. The San Antonio-based grocer has expanded across North Texas with stores in Allen, Frisco, Irving, Plano and other cities, and additional locations planned in Carrollton and Denton.
