The Grapevine Public Library will host a free Summerween Celebration on Saturday, August 15, mixing Halloween fun into the middle of summer with trick-or-treating, a movie screening, and crafts for kids.

The event runs from noon to 3 p.m. Costumes are encouraged, according to the City of Grapevine's events calendar.

The celebration falls on the first Saturday after Grapevine-Colleyville ISD students return to class on Wednesday, August 12, per the district's approved calendar.
