Hotel Vin will put a 374-square-foot greenhouse champagne bar on its northeast dining patio in Grapevine beginning in November, adding a new draw for visitors during the city's winter season.
The Mumm Napa Champagne Bar will include about 22 seats and serve mixed drinks, beer and wine from November through February, according to city records cited by Community Impact Newspaper.
Seats will line the interior walls, with three cocktail tables in the middle for standing guests.
The Grapevine City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission approved the temporary structure at their Oct. 20 meeting, Community Impact reported.
The greenhouse is planned only for the 2026 holiday season.
The hotel also won approval to begin installing a canvas vestibule each year in front of the east doors leading to Harvest Hall, the food hall inside Grapevine Main Station.
That vestibule will go up annually from November through March, for no more than 180 days.
Richard Wales, general manager of Hotel Vin, told Community Impact the vestibule addresses a practical problem. "Throughout winter, strong winds, cold winds, blow debris into Harvest Hall so we are putting up a temporary structure that should give two doors to block that wind and debris coming in," Wales said.
The debris also creates a health code concern when blown into the kitchen prep area, according to city records.
The greenhouse bar is part of a broader winter lineup at Hotel Vin. CW33 reported the hotel's seasonal program runs Nov. 13, 2026, through Feb. 14, 2027, and includes private dining bubbles alongside the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, fire pit seating and a holiday pop-up bar inside Harvest Hall.
The private dining bubbles at WineYard Grille + Bar cost $260 per 90-minute session for up to eight adults, with reservations available on OpenTable. Mumm Napa is the title sponsor for the bubble experience, which includes a bottle of Mumm Brut Prestige Cuvée and an Alpine-inspired fondue menu, CW33 reported.
A separate fire pit option called Fireside at WineYard seats up to four guests at $120 for 90 minutes. Inside Harvest Hall, the Third Rail venue will convert into the Holly Jolly Bar with themed drinks and live entertainment for the season.
Grapevine holds the official designation as the Christmas Capital of Texas, a title the state Senate made official in 2009, according to Houstonia Magazine. The city hosts more than 1,400 holiday events each winter, CW33 reported, spread across 40 days, according to Houstonia.
Reservations for the Winter Wonderland Bubbles and Fireside at WineYard open Nov. 13 through OpenTable.
