Southlake police booked 16 people between Saturday, Aug. 1, and Friday, Aug. 7, the highest weekly total in the department's last three arrest logs, according to booking records published by LocalNewsOnly.
The week's charges included organized retail theft, federal immigration holds and family violence assault. None appeared in the two prior weekly logs covering July 18–23 and July 25–31.
DWI arrests
Three people faced DWI-related charges. Arthur Lamar Landrum, 36, of Fort Worth was arrested Sunday, Aug. 2, on a DWI charge by Officer Grace T. Sulma Ivon Rosales Reyes, 31, of Fort Worth was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 4, on charges of DWI with an open alcohol container. Jonathan Estuardo Magana, 28, of Grand Prairie was picked up Monday, Aug. 3, on a Collin County Sheriff's Office warrant for DWI along with multiple other warrants from Grand Prairie.
Organized retail theft
Officer Durham N arrested two people Thursday, Aug. 6, on organized retail theft charges valued between $100 and $750: Javier Jose Perez Miranda, 32, of Garland and Mayra Magdalena Vazquez Dominguez, 34, of Grapevine. Perez Miranda was released on a promise to appear. Vazquez Dominguez was transferred to county jail after a federal DHS/ICE hold was also placed on her.
Under Texas Penal Code §31.16, amended by SB 1300 effective Sept. 1, 2025, organized retail theft in that dollar range is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail and a $4,000 fine.
Federal ICE holds
Two people were held on federal immigration detainers. Alfredo Rodriguez, 26, of Dallas was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 5, by Officer Womack C on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (Penalty Group 1, less than one gram) and a DHS/ICE hold. He was transferred to county. Vazquez Dominguez's ICE hold accompanied her retail theft charge.
Family violence
Rama Krishna V Docca, 52, a Southlake resident, was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 4, by Officer Eustace A on a charge of assault causing bodily injury to a family member. He was released on a county cash bond. Desmond Derail Wilkerson, 32, of Fort Worth was arrested Sunday, Aug. 2, by Officer Davis Z on a Kaufman County warrant for assault of a family or household member and transferred to county.
Other bookings
Chiamaka Kayla Ononye, 22, of Euless was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 4, on 11 separate warrants from Euless and Hurst police departments covering charges that included assault-family violence, drug paraphernalia and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
Paulo Fabian Tapia, 59, of Keller was arrested Friday, Aug. 7, on a Denton County warrant for felony drug possession.
Of the 16 people booked, at least 10 were transferred to county jail. Two were released on cash bond, two were released per the holding agency and one was released after a 24-hour hold expired.
Arrest does not imply guilt; all charges are accusations until proven in court.
The previous two weekly logs recorded 14 bookings for July 18–23 and 11 for July 25–31.
